He is the founder of Kevin and Associates LLP. He serves as the Managing Partner where he steers both strategic and corporate implementation of the firm’s
policies and culture.
As an advocate of strict application of common sense, he believes you cannot practice law without it. In his free time, he reads on traditional customary law,
sociology, commerce and people. He is a problem-solver with a multi-dimensional approach in dispute resolution. As he says “lawyers are creatures of instructions,
and therefore the client is the principal”.
He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Tax Agent, Patent Agent, Anti-Money Laundering Agent, Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. He is a holder of
Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), Post-graduate Diploma in law (PGD) and Master in Tax & Custom Administration. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and
East Africa Law Society.
He has participated in complex high-stake dispute resolution involving huge sums of monies. He is a routine participant in high end tax disputes at the Tax Appeals
Tribunal. He has also successfully represented clients in criminal courts in allegations of tax evasion involving millions of dollars.
He has participated in precedent setting litigation on subjects such as Departure Prohibition Order, Agency Notices, Transfer Pricing, Redundancy, Statutory
Power of Sale, Spousal Consent, Charge Instruments among others.
He has also been involved in the drafting and formulation of cross-border joint venture instruments in the medical field, gaming industry and the purchase of
sophisticated medical equipment such as MRI and CT Scan Machines costing millions of dollars.
He has been involved in financing and refinancing negotiation where multi-collateral is applied in the securitization of loans/facilities in Health, Manufacturing and
Real Estate Development.
